Origin:

Scented geranium, also known as rose geranium (Pelargonium), is a sub-shrub of the Geraniaceae family, The plants are produced in the Central Highlands of Madagascar. 

Botanical name: Pelargonium roseat
Type: Pelargonium X Asperum cv Bourbon.
Part of the plant distilled: Fresh aerial leaves
Method of production: Distillation carried out just after the harvest Density 20/20°: 0.88 to 0.90

Color: Yellow to green
Odor: Flowery, pinkish, slightly sweetened

Main constituents :  Citronellol 18-23%, Geraniol 13-20%, 6.9-Guaiadiene 5-9%, Lemonellyl Formate, Geranyl Formate

Processing: Steam distillation

Characteristics:

The essential oil of Geranium has a very floral scent, with notes of rose more or less pronounced.
